In 2005, His Holiness the 14th Dalai lama graciously Issued official seal decree proclaiming that the boy named Tenzin Woedhen was recognised as reincarnation of 2nd Dromo Geshe Rinpoche.

In 2006, He visited to his official residence Dromo Labrang and he memorized many roots text of Buddhist scriptures under guidance of Geshe Lobsang Gyatso .Besides, he learned Tibetan , English and Chinese by taking tuition from outside.

In 2017, he began to learn Buddhist Philosophy from young age and he appeared in top three during annual exam every year.

There are around 45 monks living in Sera Dromo Labrang. H.Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama advised the importance of learning Buddhist Philosophy during his visit to Tharpa Choling monastery. Therefore, thirty young monks among them were sent from Tharpa Choling to Sera je monastery in order to study about Buddhist Philosophy. After completion of their education successfully, we hope and pray that they will return to their monastery to promote awareness of Buddhism to  public around their place.
